Volunteering at Akron Canton Regional Foodbank

  •  February 27, 2021
     8:30 am - 11:00 am

In an effort to serve our community, the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) McKinley Chapter is scheduled to volunteer at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 8:30am to 11am. ASSP McKinley members are encouraged to bring their family members 10 years of age or older. Volunteer projects are based on the daily needs of the Foodbank.  The time you give sorting and inspecting food donations, labeling product for repackaging or packaging bulk items helps us provide 108,000 meals to people struggling with hunger in our community each and every day! The Chapter will be providing coffee and donuts for volunteers.

PLEASE SIGN-UP TO PARTICIPATE. If you have not previously volunteered with the Foodbank, you will first need to complete a Volunteer Application. Adult Volunteer Application or Youth Volunteer Application (ages 10-17).  Once your application is complete (or as a returning volunteer), log in to our Volunteer Information Center by clicking SCHEDULE YOUR NEXT VISIT  (Your login name is your email address.  Your password is what you entered on your application.)
