McKinley ASSP Gives Back
Please join us as we help others in our community by serving at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on October 25 from 8:30 am -11 am at the Akron facility. Feel free to bring the whole family age 10 and over.
The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank was formed in 1982 by a group of community leaders who made a commitment to provide emergency food to neighbors in need. Today, the Foodbank provides food and other essential items to hunger-relief partners within its network, serving eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne.

Join us for our McKinley Chapter Fall Kick-Off event as we cheer on the Rubber Ducks as they battle the Binghampton Rumble Ponies on Friday September 5, 2025. All student members and those interested in becoming student members are encouraged to attend. This is a family friendly event; bring your spouse, partner, and kids as we kickoff the ASSP McKinley Chapter this fall. The Chapter will cover the admission ticket and a drink for all attendees. Registration is required.

Please join us June 9 from 6pm -8pm at the Oak Tree Shelter in Wingfoot Lake State Park for our annual McKinley Chapter Picnic and Election.
The Chapter will graciously be providing the meal free of charge for all attendees. Students are always welcome and will receive a free meal at ALL Chapter Meetings. Please register all guests on our events page so we can provide adequate food.
